The Miles Davis Principle

In order for a lesson to be effective, the student needs to walk out the door with a task that will improve their lives

“Establishing a Rhythm to Your Vision.”

Hello Warrior,

This week I am talking about an idea that I came up with in college. The Miles Davis Principle. Oddly enough, it’s not a music principle, at least exclusively. I use it every time I put together one of these email. So I guess I’m sharing one of my secrets with you. 😉

Enjoy the video:

Here is the YouTube link to “So What” by Miles Davis that I mentioned. You know what, here is an iTunes link to buy the whole album. Trust me, you’ll want it.

Here’s another song recommendation, “Mr. P.C.” by John Coltrane (on his iconic album Giant Steps). It was written as a tribute to Mr. Paul Chambers, at least that’s the story.

Now go do something amazing. #watchwhathappens

Thanks,

P.S. Did you know that I am working with the John Maxwell Leadership team to expand my knowledge and curriculum? I will be using what I am learning from them to teach two business mastermind classes each month. One in person, at the Idaho Innovation Center in Idaho Falls, and the other online. Be sure to follow to social media accounts to watch for the class dates/times to be announced.
